The 42nd

John Dos Passos depicted the diverse relations in the world as well as in American society basically in his novel "the 42nd parallel" which is the first novel of "U.S.A" trilogy. The name of the novel, The 42nd Parallel, tells a lot. As it's well known the 42nd parallel is a major storm pass across North America. The novel has nearly the same function, giving the brightest and the fullest picture of the events that happened in the USA during first two decades of the twentieth century, it showed how rapidly and radically was American society
